Support resident-centered recreation programs as a Recreation Aide at AgeCare Jasper Place in Edmonton, using communication and Microsoft Office skills.

This part time Recreation Aide plans and delivers leisure activities within established care plans. You will collaborate with the Recreation Manager and Executive Director while supporting resident participation, documentation, and evaluation. The work follows AgeCare policies, procedures, and the Team-oriented Care Model.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and delivering recreation and leisure programs
Create welcoming environments encouraging participation and social connection
Document participation records, program notes, and departmental charting
Facilitate scheduled programs, events, outings, and transportation support




Support meal service and resident-centered daily routines

Requirements:
Diploma in recreation, leisure studies, gerontology, or related field
Previous senior-focused recreation or community experience is an asset
Robust interpersonal, written, and verbal English communication skills
Microsoft Office proficiency, including Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
Current Vulnerable Sector Check or willingness to obtain one
