Support early learning at Cold Lake Elementary School as a full time Early Childhood Assistant focused on supervision and daily routines. Work Monday to Friday, 8:15 am to 3:15 pm, in Alberta’s Lakeland region.

Northern Lights Public Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Assistant commencing as soon as possible. The assignment supports effective day-to-day program operations for approximately 350 Kindergarten to Grade 3 students. You will help maintain smooth transitions, consistent routines, and developmentally appropriate programming while supporting student well-being.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with effective day-to-day program operations
Ensure children remain supervised and accounted for
Support smooth transitions and consistent daily routines




Help implement developmentally appropriate programming
Uphold program philosophies, policies, and procedures

Requirements:
Level 1, 2, or 3 Early Child Care Certificate
First Aid Certification
Experience in early childhood or school-aged care
Understanding of child development theories and best practices
Criminal records check with vulnerable sector check
