Registered Nurse with nursing standards, care planning, and supervisory skills needed for part time practice at Extendicare. Reliable vehicle access is required for community home care.

This part time RN position supports quality nursing practice in keeping with governing-body standards and internal policies. You will provide resident or patient care, monitor needs, and guide assigned nursing and personal care staff. Previous community or long-term care experience is required.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide care according to nursing standards and physicians’ orders
Assess, monitor, and evaluate resident or patient care plans
Manage assigned nursing and personal care staff
Conduct orientations, appraisals, and performance monitoring




Direct nursing services when the Director of Care is absent

Requirements:
Current provincial certificate of competence from an approved institution
Registered or eligible with the approved provincial skilled institution
Previous community or long-term care experience
Ability to prioritize urgent tasks independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication, comprehension, and creative problem-solving skills
