Apply quantitative skills and technology knowledge as an Investment Co-op supporting Manulife Investment Management’s Venture Capital team in a hybrid setting. Research B2B SaaS startups and evaluate investment opportunities across North America.

This co-op supports early and growth stage investments in enterprise software and fintech. You will contribute to industry research, company assessment, valuation, financial modeling, and comprehensive due diligence. The role also supports portfolio monitoring and reviews.

Key Responsibilities:
Research companies, industries, trends, competitors, ratios, and performance measures
Meet prospective startups and complete in-depth company due diligence
Assist valuation analyses and financial modeling for prospective investments
Support portfolio reviews, risk ratings, and collateral valuations




Assess software quality, scalability, solutions, and market potential

Requirements:
Currently pursuing bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Science
Prior relevant internship or experience at technology firms, startups, banking, investing, or consulting
Robust interest in technology, startups, entrepreneurship, and investments
Solid quantitative, financial modeling, valuation, and financial statement skills
Robust written communication, attention to detail, initiative, and project management

Develop venture capital experience through research, valuation, diligence, and portfolio analysis for B2B technology startups.
