Build SQL and EDI integrations at Sofina Foods, connecting trading partners through reliable, high-volume information exchange. This role focuses on seamless data transmission.
Reporting to the Director, ERP Solutions, the IT Programmer develops, integrates, and optimizes EDI communications. You will support customer purchase orders, invoices, receivables, system integration, debugging, and specification documentation. The position requires functional and technical application development experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop EDI integrations supporting Sofina’s business growth
Monitor APIs and maintain secure data transmissions
Improve integrations and reduce business-impacting errors
Troubleshoot issues and document root cause resolutions
Maintain ERP, EDI, and end-user documentation
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, IT, or related field
Minimum five years developing functional and technical specifications
Expertise in at least one high-level computing language
Experience with solution documentation and version control
Excellent communication with technical and non-technical audiences
Apply SQL, EDI integration, debugging, and documentation expertise to support Sofina’s trading partner communications.
