As Accounting Manager, you will report to the Senior Accounting Manager and lead a property accounting team supporting a commercial portfolio. Your work covers financial statements, operating cost and tax recovery reconciliations, budgets, forecasts, audits, and monthly reporting. You will also support special projects.

Key Responsibilities:
Lead, coach, mentor, hire, and develop property accounting team members
Complete budgets, forecasts, recoveries, taxes, audits, and financial statements
Review team work for accuracy, deadlines, standards, and policy compliance
Coordinate activities with property and asset management groups




Improve delivery quality, efficiency, processes, and service excellence

Requirements:
Five-plus years of progressive commercial property accounting experience
Post-secondary related degree; CPA designation is an asset
Experience training, mentoring, and overseeing junior accounting staff
Expertise calculating CAM and tax recoveries for multiple tenant types
Knowledge of commercial property accounting software such as Yardi
