Coordinate independent nuclear safety reviews remotely for CNL, supporting Chalk River Laboratory through technical evaluation and stakeholder communication.

As a Nuclear Safety Specialist, you will coordinate reviews for the Safety Review Committee and Nuclear Criticality Safety Panel. The work includes nuclear safety analysis, nuclear criticality safety, regulatory documentation, and stakeholder coordination. You will support formal acceptance of submissions after review comments are resolved.

Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate independent technical reviews for the Safety Review Committee
Coordinate Nuclear Criticality Safety Panel reviews and meetings
Consolidate reviewer comments into technical memoranda
Facilitate stakeholder clarification and disposition discussions




Support formal acceptance of finalized submissions

Requirements:
Bachelor Honours degree in engineering or nuclear-associated science
Significant experience in nuclear facilities, safety, or technology
Experience in nuclear safety analysis and criticality safety preferred
Solid written, verbal, interpersonal, and diplomatic communication skills
Reliability Status and Site Access Security Clearance eligibility
