Coach aspiring entrepreneurs from Ballad Group’s Airdrie office using business planning and individualized support. This in-position role works 30 hours weekly.

As Business Coach, you will support unemployed and underemployed Albertans through Ballad’s 16-week Self-Employment Launchpad. You will guide business plans, financial projections, marketing strategies, and launch decisions while supporting participants in Airdrie, Strathmore, and Okotoks.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized coaching based on participant goals and progress
Strengthen business models, market research, and financial projections
Guide registration, licensing, pricing, and customer development
Lead peer roundtables and facilitate shared learning
Track milestones, coaching notes,



and program outcomes

Requirements:
Practical experience starting, operating, or growing a business
Experience coaching, advising, or mentoring entrepreneurs
Knowledge of planning, financial fundamentals, marketing, and sales
Ability to review budgets, cash flow, and projections
Robust organization, documentation, and relationship-building skills
