Operate light equipment and maintain municipal roads with Leduc County in a permanent, full time position scheduled Monday to Friday. Support year-round infrastructure maintenance and winter night driving duties.

As an experienced Light Equipment Operator, you will report to the Area Foreman and support roads, right-of-ways, properties, facilities, and equipment. The work includes operating mowers, tractors, skid steer loaders, trucks, and other light equipment. You will also patrol county roads during winter and report maintenance needs.

Key Responsibilities:

- Repair and patch gravel, cold mix, and hot mix roads
- Clear debris and obstructions from roads and right-of-ways
- Operate and maintain light equipment for operational purposes
- Patrol county roads during winter severe weather
- Provide traffic accommodation through flagging and signage

Requirements:

- Knowledge of equipment operation and maintenance
- General mechanical abilities
- Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s license
- Trailer towing experience
- Class 3 license or heavy equipment experience preferred
