Support clinical research at UHN through participant recruitment, informed consent, and data collection in fully in-person Emergency Departments.

As a Clinical Research Study Assistant, you will support clinical and health services studies at Toronto General Hospital and Toronto Western Hospital. Working under close supervision, you will assist with participant-facing activities, documentation, and study operations. The program covers emergency medicine, addiction medicine, health equity, education, and other research areas.

Key Responsibilities:
Screen potential participants according to approved eligibility criteria
Support recruitment and informed consent processes
Administer surveys, interviews, and standardized data tools
Collect, enter, verify,



and document study data
Prepare and store specimens according to procedures

Requirements:
Relevant undergraduate degree or equivalent education and experience
Minimum three to six months of related experience
Solid organization, communication, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
Availability for daytime, evening, and weekend shifts
