Develop structural design skills with TYLin as a Buildings Engineering Intern in Calgary, supporting computer modeling and building drawings. Gain hands-on experience during Summer 2027.

This internship supports structural engineering projects for commercial, institutional, and residential buildings. You will assist project teams through conceptual design, preliminary design, and construction. The work includes field reviews, existing-condition documentation, engineering plans, details, and hand calculations.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with structural designs and drawings for buildings
Support projects from conceptual design through construction
Perform field reviews during building construction
Document existing conditions during building visits




Assist with computer modeling and hand calculations

Requirements:
Current third-year undergraduate or graduate student standing
Accredited Civil or Architectural Engineering program enrollment
Structures focus required for Architectural Engineering students
At least one steel or concrete design class
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and engineering software

Build practical structural engineering experience through TYLin building projects, field reviews, computer modeling, and design documentation in Calgary.
