Take charge this summer as the Head Lifeguard at Appleby College's seasonal camp. Lead a dedicated team, ensuring safety and fun in the pool area while managing camp activities. This part-time role from December 2026 to June 2027 transitions to full time from June 28 to August 27, 2027. You will be responsible for supervising 3 to 5 lifeguards while upholding Appleby's high safety standards. The ideal candidate will have robust leadership skills and experience in a camp setting. Key Responsibilities:
Supervise the pool area and lifeguard team
Organize lifeguard training and health inspections
Communicate health concerns of campers
Conduct emergency procedures practice sessions
Check safety equipment and pool conditions daily Requirements:
Pool deck supervisory experience required
Current Lifesaving Society qualifications
Valid Intermediate First Aid and CPR-C
Strong problem-solving and multitasking skills
