The YMCA of Simcoe/Muskoka seeks an Assistant Teacher for its Monsignor Ronan YMCA Before & After School Program. You will care for children, supervise groups of up to 15 independently, and implement play-based learning through the YMCA Curriculum. The role also requires communication with families, staff, and volunteers while supporting inclusive participation.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide personal care, first aid, medication, and dietary monitoring
Supervise children and ensure group safety
Plan and implement YMCA Curriculum play-based learning




Communicate professionally with families, staff, and volunteers
Support children with exceptional behaviours and additional needs

Requirements:
Minimum 18 years of age
Current Standard or Intermediate First Aid and CPR Level C
Satisfactory Vulnerable Sector Check
Up-to-date immunizations or equivalent documentation
Passion for children and quality play-based learning
