This temporary, full time Mental Health Nurse works rotating nine-hour night shifts within an interdisciplinary team. The role coordinates nursing assessments, care planning, medication administration, client education, health promotion, telephone follow-up, and therapy assistance. CASA House provides live-in support for teens staying an average of four months.

Key Responsibilities:
Complete physical and psychosocial nursing assessments
Develop, monitor, and modify nursing care plans
Administer medications and provide relevant medication teaching
Assist with individual or group therapy




Coordinate continuity of care with professionals and families

Requirements:
Registration with the College of Registered Nurses of Alberta
Or registration with the College of Registered Psychiatric Nurses of Alberta
Minimum two years of recent pediatric ambulatory care experience
Experience managing children with mental health concerns
Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle access
