This Casual Registered Practical Nurse supports the Director of Care and nursing department in a geriatric setting. The position requires communication, supervisory, emergency management, and added nursing skills. Responsibilities include resident assessments, medication administration, personal care, documentation, and care planning.

Key Responsibilities:
Assist with planning and evaluating overall resident care quality
Complete nursing assessments and monitor residents’ well-being
Administer, supervise, order, and store medications and treatments
Develop, review,



and revise individual resident health care plans
Direct, assign, and evaluate PSW/HCA work

Requirements:
Current positive-standing registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario
Medication Administration Certification
Current CPR and First Aid Certification
Two or more years’ experience, preferably in geriatrics
Excellent communication and supervisory skills
