This machinist sets up and operates Swiss-type CNC lathes, adjusts programs and offsets, and inspects parts throughout production. The work requires blueprint interpretation, GD&T; knowledge, and precision measurement.

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate Swiss-type CNC lathes
Select tools, guide bushings, collets, fixtures, and indicators
Load, modify, and change machining programs
Adjust cutting tools, inserts, offsets, feeds, and speeds
Measure,



inspect, deburr, and prepare machined parts

Requirements:
Five or more years operating CNC Swiss-type lathes
Fanuc and Mitsubishi Swiss-type controls experience
Blueprint, engineering drawing, and GD&T; interpretation skills
Precision measuring instrument experience
Solid mechanical aptitude, problem-solving, and attention to detail
