We are a lean, fast partner alternative to other qualified service consulting firms.Job DescriptionThe Technical Lead - Cloud Data Warehouse provides overall leadership to the team of data engineers, analysts and architects to implement world-class data solutions that meet our clients’ diverse business objectives and needs. This role is both a client-facing consulting role and a hands‑on programming/development role. Working with teams of internal and clients’ data engineers and architects, this role will lead in the delivery on modernizing their current data infrastructure, including data warehouses, data lakes and data marts. This role will be responsible for leading and contributing to the team responsible for the architecture and development of data ingestion processes, performance, administration, and design of database structures.RESPONSIBILITIESSupervise team activities including work scheduling, technical direction, and standard development practices; staff project and/or production support activities being mindful of the associated costs.Assist in the delivery of cloud-based data warehouse, lake, and mart solutionsUnderstand data landscape i.E. tooling, tech stack, source systems etc. and work closely with client technology teams to improve data collection, quality, reporting and analytics capabilitiesDesign, document, and implement data warehouse strategies, including building ETL,



ELT, and Data Pipeline processesDevelop processes for loading and transforming of large volumes of structured and semi-structured dataResponsible for data architecture, data modeling and data governance to implement high-performance, highly secure solutionsParticipate in data warehouse development by defining metadata and security standardsPerform a variety of tasks to facilitate completion of projects including but not limited to coordinating communication with outside departments, writing documentation and specifications, testing, and consultingMentor less experienced team membersSupport pre-sales and solution engineering activitiesQualifications10+ years experience in data warehouse, data modeling, ETL, BI projects5+ years experience working in client-facing, consulting role3+ years hands‑on experience with Snowflake cloud data warehouse3+ years hands‑on experience in python development and ETL tools (Matillion, Talend, etc)3+ years experience leading technical team of data engineers and architectsCompleted cloud warehouse projects in at least 2 of AWS, Azure, GCP cloud technologiesMaintain and achieve technical cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, or Snowflake)Ability to work and communicate with both business and technical expertsCollege or University degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Data Science and/or relevant degreeAdditional InformationHybrid work location (remote and/or office option available)Fully employer paid health and dental benefitsA criminal and background check will be required#J-18808-Ljbffr
