and court datesMaintain limitation deadlines, litigation schedules, and comprehensive file documentationAssist lawyers with settlement negotiations, mediation preparation, and trial preparationPrepare documentation and materials for discoveries, motions, hearings, and trialsConduct legal and factual research as requiredEnsure files are accurate, organized, up to date, and progressing efficientlyQualificationsDiploma from an accredited Law Clerk program5+ years of experience in tort lawStrong knowledge of tort litigation procedures, pleadings, discovery, and court processesExperience with medical documentation, expert evidence, liability, and damages mattersExcellent drafting, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage files independently and prioritize competing deadlinesHighly motivated, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced litigation environmentStrong client service orientation and professional judgment
