This full time Lube Technician works day shifts with rotating 12-hour schedules. You will support the Carberry Maintenance Team by reducing downtime, preventing lubrication-related failures, and maintaining food-grade component lubrication. The position requires organized maintenance practices and technical judgment.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and document oil, grease, and sampling routes
Implement scheduled routes while achieving over 95% compliance
Review oil sampling reports and take appropriate action
Maintain lube systems, levels, filters, and equipment files
Manage lubricant storage, handling, and disposal programs
Requirements:
Journeyman Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic or Millwright qualification
Apprenticeship candidates may be considered
Minimum Grade 12 education
Computer skills with Microsoft Word and Excel experience
Ability to work responsibly with minimal supervision
Use lubrication maintenance, oil analysis, and route compliance skills to help McCain Foods reduce downtime in Carberry.
