Serve La Ronge customers as a casual Recycling Technician while counting containers and preparing recyclable materials for transport. Basic computer skills and email use are required.

At SARCAN, Recycling Technicians support customers, depot operations, and Saskatchewan’s recycling system. You will answer questions about accepted materials, deposit amounts, and container sizes. The work includes counting, recording, sorting, crushing, loading, cleaning, and occasional point-of-sale operation.

Key Responsibilities:
Greet customers and answer general recycling inquiries
Count containers and record deposit refund orders
Sort, crush, and load containers for transport
Clean and maintain the depot building and yard
Operate the point-of-sale system when needed

Requirements:
Basic reading, writing, and numeracy skills
Basic computer skills, including required email use
Ability to focus while counting and recording containers
Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks sequentially
Satisfactory criminal record check required
