This Senior Accountant role combines technical accounting with hands-on reporting responsibilities. You will investigate complex agreements, non-routine transactions, and new standards, translating conclusions into entries and disclosures. The work also supports quarterly and annual reporting, internal controls, and collaboration with Finance, Tax, Treasury, and Operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Research accounting standards and resolve complex IFRS questions
- Prepare technical memoranda, entries, and financial statement disclosures
- Support implementation of new accounting standards and policies
- Maintain and enhance internal controls over financial reporting
- Prepare and review monthly financial reporting packages
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA designation
- 5-8+ years of progressive accounting experience
- Robust technical accounting research and disclosure experience
- External auditor experience and complex reporting knowledge
- Excellent judgment, communication, and analytical skills
