Operate filling machines at Novocol Pharma in Cambridge, Ontario, applying aseptic practices, troubleshooting, and GMP requirements. Support sterile injectable manufacturing activities.
The Filling Specialist reports to the Production Supervisor and supports productive, effective Filling Room operations. Responsibilities include line changeovers, machine setup, cleaning, quality checks, and operator training. The position also supports preventive maintenance, investigations, equipment problem resolution, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and disassemble filling machines
Perform line changeovers, cleaning, and sanitization
Complete filling in-process quality checks
Troubleshoot machines and perform minor adjustments
Train filling room operators on machine operation
Requirements:
High school diploma
Gown certification and robust gowning techniques
Positive documentation practices
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting experience
Willingness to work extra hours
Apply filling machine operation, aseptic practices, mechanical aptitude, and GMP knowledge within Novocol Pharma’s Filling Rooms.
