UBC seeks a full time Service Worker skilled in cleaning and mobile housekeeping across residence buildings during the AM shift. This posting includes ten vacancies.

Working within Student Housing and Community Services, you will follow oral and written instructions, schedules, and procedures. The work includes cleaning surfaces, maintaining supplies and equipment, responding to guest needs, and supporting protected residence operations. The role reports to housekeeping leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
Clean, disinfect, polish, sweep, mop, wash, vacuum, and scrub surfaces
Maintain cleaning supplies and equipment in operating condition
Make beds, change linen, and distribute laundry
Collect waste and clean washrooms, drains, vents, and sidewalks




Attend to guest requests and report required maintenance

Requirements:
Grade 10 completion and one year related experience
Institutional janitorial or hotel experience preferred
Ability to walk, climb, and perform manual work
Ability to follow instructions and adopt recent methods
Effective verbal and written English communication

Support UBC residences through mobile housekeeping, equipment care, guest service, and dependable cleaning work across assigned buildings.
