This experienced Public Health Registered Nurse serves within Interior Health’s Public Health Services team. The work applies population health, epidemiology, primary health care, and disease prevention knowledge. Services support individuals, families, and population groups through universal and targeted interventions, programs, and advocacy.

Key Responsibilities:
Provide nursing services using the Population Health model
Translate health and social sciences knowledge into health-enhancing behaviours
Deliver services in communities, schools, homes, and outreach locations




Support diverse individuals, families, and population groups
Advance health promotion and disease and injury prevention

Requirements:
Experience as a Public Health Registered Nurse
Knowledge of health promotion and epidemiology
Understanding of community development and primary health care
Knowledge of social determinants of health and illness
Ability to travel with transportation meeting Employer requirements
