Apply financial administration and accounting expertise as Treasurer / Financial Officer for the Presbytery of Waterloo-Wellington. This part time contract averages approximately 10 hours weekly.

The Treasurer / Financial Officer provides financial administration, reporting, and oversight for the Presbytery. Accountable to the Presbytery, this position works closely with the Resource Team and participates in Leadership Team meetings as required. The contract term is three years, with possible extensions.

Key Responsibilities:
Maintain accurate financial records for the Presbytery
Prepare budgets, forecasts, and financial statements
Administer banking, investments, loans, payroll, and assessments
Complete CRA and GST/HST requirements
Support the annual financial review and compliance

Requirements:
Financial or related skilled experience
Solid analytical and communication skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Sage 50 Premium Accounting experience highly desirable
Other accounting platform experience considered
