As a Senior Accountant, you will manage and execute notice-to-reader and review engagements within the Audit & Assurance team. You will prepare ASPE financial statements, Canadian tax returns, and concise reports. The role includes client relationship building, risk management, and mentoring junior accountants.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and execute notice-to-reader and review engagements
Prepare ASPE financial statements and Canadian tax returns
Identify client issues and recommend practical improvements
Review journal entries, reconciliations,
and financial analyses
Train junior team members and communicate with engagement leaders
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
CPA designation or final-stage CPA certification progress
Two to four years in public accounting
Experience with private, owner-managed businesses
Knowledge of Caseware, Tax Prep, and Microsoft Excel
