This technician position supports advanced automotive and motorsport applications through composite manufacturing. You will develop skills in laminating, vacuum-bagging, autoclaves, molds, structural bonding, and carbon fiber layups. The work includes training in composite components, substructures, skins, and honeycomb cores.
Key Responsibilities:
Laminate and vacuum-bag carbon fiber and composite materials
Train with autoclaves and ovens for curing
Build and assemble composite components and substructures
Cut, trim, bond, and finish composite parts
Maintain quality, safety, and organized work areas
Requirements:
Comfort using sanders, grinders, cutters, drills, and scissors
Willingness to learn drawings and detailed instructions
Motivation for hands-on problem-solving and skill development
Basic computer knowledge and safety-focused work habits
Interest in motorsport-related composite components
Develop carbon fiber layup, autoclave, bonding, and finishing skills while supporting Multimatic motorsport manufacturing programs.
