Maintain an automotive auction site in Peterborough through yard upkeep, basic maintenance, and careful attention to cleanliness and safety. This role is based onsite.
As a Maintenance Operative, you will support day-to-day upkeep across a busy automotive auction operation. Your work will cover sweeping, weeding, housekeeping, and basic maintenance duties. You will help keep the yard, auction hall, vehicle display areas, and wider site qualified and safe.
Key Responsibilities: Sweep the yard, auction hall, and vehicle display areas
Complete weeding and general site upkeep
Carry out basic maintenance duties as required
Keep work areas clean, tidy, and safe
Assist with general housekeeping and reasonable duties
Requirements: No previous experience required
Reliable attitude with a strong work ethic
Ability to work independently and within a team
Physical fitness for indoor and outdoor work
Maintenance, cleaning, or facilities experience desirable
