As a Personal Support Worker on Sienna’s Long Term Care team, you will understand residents’ living experiences and support their well-being. You will assist with activities of daily living, encourage resident connections, and contribute to a culture focused on helping residents live fully. Your work will include care aligned with individual plans, communication support, mobility assistance, and participation in resident programs.
Key Responsibilities: Support eating, dressing, hygiene, and grooming activities
Encourage residents to use glasses and hearing aids




Administer prescribed medication after required training
Maintain access to mobility and assistive devices
Provide cognitive, social, emotional, spiritual, and oral care
Requirements: Complete an approved Personal Support Worker program
Provide bedside care and easy treatment procedures
Exercise tact and diplomacy with seniors and visitors
Pass a Vulnerable Sector Check successfully
Hold Canadian work eligibility or valid work permit
Bring compassionate personal care, resident supervision, and respectful communication to Sienna’s evening team in Barrie.
