Support patients by telephone and email as Medcan’s primarily remote Patient Care Coordinator, coordinating follow-up care with Physicians and Nurses.
This current vacancy focuses on patient communications without face-to-face contact. The coordinator manages assigned phone queues, responds to messages, and supports exceptional service delivery. Strong organization, attention to detail, prioritization, and multidisciplinary experience are important for this work.
Key Responsibilities: Answer patient calls from assigned phone queues
Respond to communications through email and telephone
Coordinate follow-up care after appointments
Coordinate service delivery with other staff
Mail documents to patients and healthcare providers
Requirements: Exceptional client service skills
Robust organization and attention to detail
Ability to prioritize in changing environments
Medical Office Administration diploma is a plus
Knowledge of medical terminology
Use patient communication, prioritization, and care coordination strengths to support Medcan clients through telephone and email.
