Support full-day kindergarten as a Designated Early Childhood Educator with early learning expertise and age-appropriate program planning skills. This supply-list role serves Simcoe County schools.
Reporting to the Principal, you will partner with the Kindergarten Teacher to implement a full-day early learning program. The position requires knowledge of environments supporting children’s cognitive, physical, social, and emotional development. Applicants must meet required qualifications and complete thorough screening before being added to the list.
Key Responsibilities: Partner with the Kindergarten Teacher on full-day programming
Implement early learning programs in kindergarten classrooms
Plan age-appropriate programs for young children




Design environments supporting children’s overall development
Follow policies during difficult or emergency situations
Requirements: Two-year community college Early Childhood Education Diploma
Current College of Early Childhood Educators membership
At least six months’ early learning or daycare experience
Knowledge of Ministry of Education kindergarten programming
Robust communication, organization, and time management skills
