This winter seasonal Patroller position runs from September to May and responds to changing weather patterns. Duties include maintaining Ontario Provincial Highways, assisting with labourer work, and addressing health, safety, and environmental concerns promptly. Shift, on-call, and night work may be required.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain Ontario Provincial Highways throughout the season
Assist with pothole and guardrail repairs
Clean bridges and highway signage
Remediate hazards and report safety concerns
Respond to scheduled and weather-related patrol needs
Requirements: Full G license and transparent three-year driver’s abstract required
AZ or DZ license preferred
Highway maintenance specification knowledge
Approachable, ethical, and accountable work approach
Snowplow and loader experience is an asset
