This Personal Support Worker role focuses on observing residents and helping identify their needs. You will assist with simple treatments, related bedside care, and documentation as directed. You will also contribute to a safe environment by following infection prevention and control policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities: Monitor care according to established resident plans
Assist in identifying resident needs through observation
Provide easy treatments and related bedside care
Document information related to resident care
Assist with onboarding new staff as directed
Requirements: Graduate of a Personal Support Worker program
Knowledge of geriatric residents’ needs
Knowledge of sanitation and cleaning techniques
Meet Ontario Community Support Association standards
Follow infection prevention and control procedures
Use geriatric care expertise, bedside techniques, and careful observation to support AgeCare residents and their established care plans.
