Sunset Ridge Dental seeks a registered or certified Dental Assistant for its established practice. The role supports dentists and hygienists through treatment preparation, patient comfort, chart updates, and oral hygiene education. Previous dental assisting experience is preferred.
Key Responsibilities: Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures
Assist dentists and hygienists during patient treatments
Take dental X-rays and digital images as required
Sterilize instruments and follow IPAC infection control standards
Update charts and support scheduling, patient flow, and administration
Requirements: Registered or certified Dental Assistant with provincial regulatory body
Previous dental assisting experience is preferred
Legal authorization to work in Canada
Commitment to privacy, safety, and regulatory guidelines
Ethical skilled behaviour and patient relationship skills
Bring dental assisting, imaging, sterilization, and patient care skills to Sunset Ridge Dental’s Cochrane practice.
