Maintain Cooper Place as a Housekeeping Aide using disinfection, floor care, and facility cleaning skills. This is regular full time work.
Reporting to the Manager, Support Services or delegate, you will clean assigned facility areas to required housekeeping standards. Duties include light and heavy cleaning, resident-room care, linen handling, and replenishing supplies. The schedule is 0700-1500, with Saturday and Sunday off.
Key Responsibilities: Clean and disinfect carpets, floors, stairways, walls, and windows
Spot clean fixtures, ceilings, vents, blinds, and ledges
Clean resident rooms, washrooms, furniture, and assigned areas
Collect soiled linen and replace bedside curtains as directed
Replenish supplies and report necessary maintenance problems
Requirements: Grade 10 or equivalent education, training, and experience
Communicate effectively verbally and in writing
Deal effectively with others
Physically carry out position duties
Operate related equipment and organize work
Apply housekeeping, disinfection, resident-room cleaning, and equipment skills while maintaining required standards throughout Cooper Place.
