Building maintenance expertise supports Giant Tiger’s Ottawa Home Office through inspections, repairs, and equipment troubleshooting five days weekly. Evening and weekend pager coverage follows training.
As Maintenance Partner, you maintain buildings, exterior property, equipment, and vehicles serving Giant Tiger facilities. The work covers mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, HVAC, boilers, generators, and life safety systems. You also manage service tickets, logs, employee requests, and event setups.
Key Responsibilities: Inspect and repair buildings and exterior property daily
Perform mechanical, plumbing, carpentry, painting, and grounds maintenance
Remove snow, ice, and seasonal debris from designated areas
Inspect and repair facility equipment, vehicles,



and life safety systems
Complete logs, service tickets, moves, inventory, and event setups
Requirements: Trade certification or relevant building maintenance experience
Minimum five years of building maintenance experience
Knowledge of Building Code and applicable regulations
Knowledge of health and safety requirements
Problem solving, troubleshooting, analytical, and multitasking skills
Apply building maintenance, equipment troubleshooting, and regulatory knowledge across Giant Tiger’s Ottawa facilities and exterior property.
