Use SQL and Python in Toronto as a Junior Data Analytics Co-op supporting reporting, models, and analysis for Simplii Financial. This four-month placement is full time.
At CIBC, you will work with the Simplii Analytics team and partners across Sales, Product, Marketing, and Operations. You will integrate data sources, create reports and charts, and help decision makers understand business performance and profitability. The placement is designed for students returning to full-time post-secondary studies.
Key Responsibilities: Integrate multiple data sources for business analysis
Develop reports, charts, models, and analysis
Provide accurate recurring and ad hoc reporting
Collaborate with team members to meet client needs
Present results clearly to business partners
Requirements: Pursuing Computer Science, Engineering, Math, Statistics, or related degree
Familiarity with SQL database querying
Experience with Python, SAS, or data analysis languages
Knowledge of Tableau, Power BI, Excel, and PowerPoint
Returning to full time studies after the co-op
Build practical analytics experience with SQL, Python, reporting, and business insight at CIBC’s Simplii Financial team.
