Support students across Edmonton Public Schools as an Educational Assistant using behavioural strategies, individualized planning, and clear communication. This is hourly, on-call work.
Supply Educational Assistants support children and youth with varied abilities and exceptionalities in complex classroom settings. You will address instructional, behavioural, and emotional needs while collaborating with teachers, coworkers, and specialized support teams. Assignments may be long-term part-time or full time.
Key Responsibilities: Support instructional, behavioural, and emotional student needs
Implement and review individualized program plans
Adapt classroom materials and visual tools
Use de-escalation strategies during challenging situations




Record daily progress, behaviour, and Individualized Program Plan goals
Requirements: Educational Assistant Certificate or Child and Youth Care Diploma
Two years of related experience, preferably educational
Strong English fluency and rapid scribing ability
Proven verbal de-escalation skills
Ability to travel throughout Edmonton schools
Bring student support, communication, and safety skills to Educational Assistant assignments with Edmonton Public Schools across the city.
