Design air core reactors in Scarborough with expertise in electromagnetic calculations and structural coordination at Trench Canada. This is a full time senior role.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will lead electromagnetic, electrical, thermal, insulation, and basic structural design. You will develop economical, manufacturable products meeting customer specifications and applicable standards. The work spans design, production, testing, and technical guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform electromagnetic, thermal, loss, and insulation calculations
- Develop reactor drawings, models, and bills of material
- Troubleshoot manufacturing issues directly with production staff
- Coordinate customer routine, type, and special tests




- Assess risks and mentor designers and engineers

Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum five years of design engineering experience
- Substantial air core reactor or comparable product experience
- Knowledge of structural design and industry standards
- CAD and MS Office proficiency; FEM experience an asset
