Teach Grade 3 through IB Primary Years Programme practices at St. Margaret’s School in Victoria, using inquiry and inclusive instruction.

This temporary 1.0 FTE position covers a leave of absence from February 8, 2027, to February 5, 2028. The successful educator creates engaging curriculum, supports whole-child development, and builds belonging in a culturally and intellectually inclusive classroom. Experience in an IB Primary Years Programme setting is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
Design and deliver engaging Primary Years Programme curriculum
Develop inquiry-driven, creative, girl-centered learning experiences
Differentiate instruction for diverse learning styles
Assess learning through feedback and progress reports




Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and interdisciplinary teams

Requirements:
Valid British Columbia Teacher Regulation Branch certification
Bachelor of Education focused on the Primary Years
Experience teaching in an IB Primary Years Programme
Inquiry-focused teaching and 21st Century strategies experience
Legal ability to work in Canada
