This Journeyperson Welder position supports heavy equipment maintenance and repair in an industrial shop setting. You will repair, fabricate, and assemble Komatsu and other heavy-duty equipment. The work includes blueprint interpretation, failure analysis, customized components, and occasional field service.
Key Responsibilities:
Repair, fabricate, and assemble heavy-duty industrial equipment
Interpret blueprints, layouts, and work orders accurately
Customize mobile equipment for customer specifications
Complete structural and component welding repairs
Maintain safe, organized work areas
Requirements:
Journeyperson Welder certification
Mining equipment maintenance and repair experience
Solid blueprint and technical drawing interpretation
Equipment troubleshooting and repair solution experience
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
