This Poultry Farm Worker position involves chicken farming and other meat-type chicken production. You will tend livestock and poultry, monitor animal health, and maintain conditions inside barns, pens, and chicken coops. The work also includes farm machinery, feed inventory, and livestock selection.
Key Responsibilities: Handle animals during broiler chicken production
Monitor animal health and treat livestock health issues
Track and report current feed inventory
Set water lines, airflow, and barn temperatures
Clean stables, barns, barnyards, and pens
Requirements: Interest in chicken farming and livestock care
Ability to work in dusty, odorous, damp, dirty conditions
Experience with feeding and watering systems
Ability to operate and maintain farm machinery
Ability to work where public transportation is unavailable
Apply methodical animal care, health observation, equipment operation, and poultry production skills in rural farm work.
