Build transmission production skills at BD Diesel Performance as a Level I Transmission Technician, using mechanical aptitude and basic hand tools.
This technician works in the Transmission Department supporting expanded operations. You will clean parts, dismantle transmissions, inspect cores, prepare surfaces, and package finished transmissions. The position includes equipment maintenance, calibration, and training support.
Key Responsibilities: Clean parts and pick transmission cores
Disassemble transmissions for inspection and preparation
Prepare surfaces and paint casings and accessories
Finish and package completed transmissions
Perform preventive maintenance and calibration on equipment
Requirements: One to two years of general work experience
Solid mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
Experience using basic hand tools in production
Ability to lift or move items up to 49 pounds
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Apply mechanical aptitude, hand tool experience, and careful inspection skills within BD Diesel Performance’s Transmission Department.
