Reporting to the Principal, this position maintains a safe, healthy, and sanitary environment for students, staff, and the public. Duties include cleaning classrooms, washrooms, floors, and common areas, maintaining storage spaces, and supporting school operations. Work may involve evenings, early mornings, or relief assignments.
Key Responsibilities: Maintain secure and sanitary school facilities daily
Clean floors, washrooms, classrooms, and common areas
Organize storage areas and cleaning supplies
Identify and report safety hazards to personnel
Support school-related activities and event setup
Requirements: Related custodial or cleaning experience with Grade 10
At least two years of directly related experience
Knowledge of cleaning methods, materials, and safety
Ability to work independently and follow procedures
Effective organizational and time management skills
Bring dependable facility maintenance, cleaning, and hazard reporting skills to the Tlicho school environment.
