Build financial reporting experience with Beedie’s Finance team through intermediate Excel, reconciliations, and corporate accounting work. This is an 8-month co-op term starting January 2027.
The Co-op Student supports period-end reporting and accounting projects within Beedie’s Finance team. You will record deposits, prepare journal entries, analyze bank reconciliations, and support close processes. The work also includes financial reporting packages, administrative duties, and decision support information.
Key Responsibilities: Record daily deposits and cash transactions in accounting systems
Prepare routine and ad-hoc journal entries
Analyze bank reconciliations and resolve reconciling items
Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes




Compile financial reporting packages and supporting working papers
Requirements: Currently enrolled in accounting or related post-secondary studies
Microsoft Office experience with intermediate Excel skills
Robust organizational and time management skills
Clear written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Apply accounting studies, Excel skills, and reconciliation experience while supporting Beedie’s financial reporting and corporate accounting activities.
