Keep mining equipment moving as a Kal Tire OTR Tire Technician in Sudbury, Ontario, performing repairs, inspections, and tire service.
This technician or trainee role supports mining operations through complete tire service and repair. You will work with mining tires, tire manipulators, forklifts, and service trucks while maintaining clean, secure work areas. The position includes ongoing training and development, with full onboarding training for candidates without OTR experience.
Key Responsibilities: Perform mining tire mounting, dismounting, balancing, and repairs
Conduct inspections for safety and performance compliance
Operate tire service equipment during site work
Coordinate closely with site maintenance teams
Manage tire materials and required Kal Tire documentation
Requirements: Experience with tire technician work preferred
Mining industry experience strongly preferred
Haul truck and loader experience is an asset
Ability to handle heavy materials safely
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
