Insight Global seeks an experienced Senior Field Technician with eight to ten or more years of relevant field experience. The work centers on high-voltage electrical equipment and requires independent use of test equipment, electrical testing, and result interpretation. Experience spans substations, utilities, and power-focused environments.

Key Responsibilities:
Commission high-voltage electrical equipment in substation settings
Perform electrical tests using field test equipment
Interpret testing results and troubleshoot equipment issues




Support equipment maintenance and metering activities
Test transformers, breakers, CTs, PTs, and transfer switches

Requirements:
Eight to ten or more years of relevant field experience
Robust substation, utility, or power-space experience
Electrical Technology or Electrical Engineering bachelor's degree preferred
Protection relay, SCADA, and broader protection-control experience
Comfort travelling throughout Ontario and working onsite daily

Apply high-voltage testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and protection-control experience as a senior technician throughout Ontario.
