The Centre for Continuing Education at John Abbott College seeks a qualified instructor for its Full Stack Developer program. This contract teaches a 60-hour Programming I course, scheduled Monday through Friday during daytime hours. Candidates should bring computer science knowledge, qualified or industrial experience, and post-secondary teaching experience. French teaching ability is preferred when required.

Teach the 420-JA4-AB Programming I course
Deliver course instruction online through Microsoft Teams
Teach Java within the Full Stack Developer program




Provide instruction during scheduled daytime course hours

Requirements:
Bachelor’s or equivalent degree in Computer Science or related field
Minimum three years appropriate qualified or industrial experience preferred
Several years post-secondary teaching experience preferred
Excellent English communication skills required
Java knowledge required; testing may be required
