Support resident comfort as a Health Care Aide at AgeCare Shawnee in Calgary, using secure basic care, transfers, and feeding assistance.

As a regular part-time Health Care Aide, you will collaborate with the care team under Licensed Practical Nurse supervision. You will provide resident bathing, mobility support, meals, routine treatments, and care procedures. The position requires safe use of transfer equipment and protective controls.

Key Responsibilities:

- Bathe, shower, and wash residents following care procedures
- Assist transfers using ceiling lifts, mechanical lifts, and transfer belts
- Feed residents according to their care plans
- Provide routine treatments under Staff Nurse direction
- Escort residents to meals, activities, and therapy functions

Requirements:

- Recognized PCA or HCA certificate course completion
- Active CLHA registration
- Fluent English communication, orally and in writing
- One year of continuing care experience preferred
- Post-secondary education considered an asset
