Resident-centred care starts with strong observation and communication skills for a Health Care Aide serving Bethany communities in Alberta.
As a Health Care Aide at Aspen Ridge Lodge, you will respond to residents’ needs within your scope of practice. The permanent, part-time assignment includes day shifts and supports residents, families, volunteers, and team members. Your work will promote service excellence, independence, and holistic well-being.
Key Responsibilities: Respond to resident needs according to care plans
Provide daily living assistance while preserving resident dignity
Monitor and document holistic resident needs accurately
Report timely observations to Registered or Licensed Practical Nurses
Maintain secure practices and emergency preparedness procedures
Requirements: Government of Alberta approved Health Care Aide certificate
Grade 10 education and CLHA registration
Previous Health Care Aide experience preferred, not required
Ability to understand, speak, read, and write English
Effective observation, communication, and problem-solving skills
Use resident-centred practice, careful observation, and clear reporting to support Bethany residents at Aspen Ridge Lodge.
